Looking to buy a lock for Division 3
Looking for a lock. Under 25, over 197cm and suitable for division 3. Anyone looking to sell a player matching this specification at the end of the season?

Re: Looking to buy a lock for Division 3
That's not really a lock at that sort of height, that's more someone who'll end up in the back row
If you're TT is however along the lines of stam, hands, def, str and tech (with some rotation) then this lad would be an option - http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=14938942

I'm looking for lock and backrow cover from the bench, hence not after a giant, cheaper to buy smaller players

Hmm, the lad I listed went for $459k which is a bonkers price, about a tenth of that would have been reasonable.

Prices for locks are insane right now... which is why I was so pissed my "locks" in my academy turned out to be short

If this lad sells at that price then why aren't these people on line for my player sales?

Locks are ridiculously expensive, I have however found when playing a shorter (191cm) guy in the backrow, with jumping of (14, Amazing) he seems to win a fair few lineouts against the throw. Hence I'm looking at a 197cm ish, trying to lower the price slightly, will happily put them on 6 sessions of jumping along with Jumping in one tt slot.

Well, not immediately, but shortly I will be selling at least 1 player who matches your description, maybe 2. One will be 17, and looks like he'll be very good, the other is 20.

Re: Looking to buy a lock for Division 3
Don't load 6 nets onto one skill on one player. I don't like more than a double net, but I make a some allowance for a triple net where there's good reason, and I'm more likely to agree there's good reason for jumping and kicking (though not for jumping on anyone below 202cm)
If you want/need to put 6 nets on a skill I'd suggest you're starting with the wrong player

Re: Looking to buy a lock for Division 3
My issue is price, I'm not going to be able to afford the winning article, so need to make some sacrifices and make up for them through training.

Re: Looking to buy a lock for Division 3
I suspect with a bit of patience you can fine a suitable starting point at a good price. I don't insist you have any patience mind, my own TM history suggesting more than a little impatience.

I just need one for next season, I've got an oldie, hitting 100k csr over the next 5 weeks and need someone to replace him, might by another oldie as a place holder for a season.
