I've got one player, who doesn't fulfil his potential in the positions I play him (gets an X in the reporter's summary). I've played him mostly at 9 or 10. I'll include his skill set and hopefully somebody may be able to shed some light on where he'd be most suited to playing.

Hmm, i guess its probably his speed that lets him odwn in those postions. He might not make a bad 6.

Tried 12?

He's a touch light for 6 isn't he?

Yeah he is a little light for 6. But i think his skills will make up for it. A General rule for me is 100kg for forwards, but if the skills are there, why not give him a chance Very Happy

I'm gonna give him a go at 12 this weekend, it's a game I'm gonna lose so I may as well do some experimenting.

As for playing him at 6, I may try it in a friendly, but my back row is the strongest area of my team, with all 3 players being better than him. I'll still give it a try though, cheers!

I would go for inside centre with this one.
Sometimes I wonder about those X's though. My feeling is that at times a particular player may be "out of position" but the whole set up of the team is better with him there.
We have to make a team with the players we have _ I guess!
Cheers,F.

Don't worry yourself overly with the crosses - it just means he could have done better himself in another position - like you say, you may already have someone much better playing there.
