Possibly a bit, but he's a top class player, although his skillset is a bit strange, with that height/weight I would have made him a 8, but his tech is pretty low and that jumping is wasted if you don't play him at lock.

I'm awful at the lock positions, so he came to rescue them. I wont be tempted to play him anywhere else, really.

I'd use him as my lock if i had him Wink 133kg of beef pushing my scrum. Can't really complain could you?

I dont think you overpayed too badly but the handling/ stamina is definitely going to be needed to be trained.

Put Albert at 4 and Spindler at 5. And put your kick to touch/up and under at 100% kick to touch to try and turn over some opposition lineouts.

Also play drift as your players will force the opposition over the sidelines and give you attacking lineouts.

By that I mean 100% kick to touch, not 100% kicking. My locks are one of the best parts of my game and I usually use between 10-25% kicking and it seems to work ok.
