Who to replace Empty My stab at it

Post by Mega man al Fri May 11, 2012 11:51 am

This is a best guess advice and you will probably try and seek a more educated answer.

Mark Carey - With his Speed and weight I'd have him as a crash inside centre, draw back being his strength may let him down, he probably is lacking in the agility stakes to be a wing.

Pierre Louis Grageon - Height and weight would make him a good lock and if I had him at 17 I might of trained him up to some standard, but in all honesty you could probably buy 17 year olds who are a bit taller with the same CSR for cheap and work on them but either way 203cm isn't bad for a lock especially with is weight in the scrum

Ryan Titler - Good Handling, speed, agility and kicking small with low weight I would say your typical srum half I would have him as. His attack could be better but always think you'd want a No.9 with okay kicking for those box kicks.

Jorge Thorne - Good defence for a FB but with no other noticeable stats, his low CSR and age I really wouldn't see why you'd keep him, despite his low weight you'd be better off having Titler as your back up FB

Renaud Olivier - Flanker is bang on really this and if you haven't got a better back up then keep around

Brent Boatwright - He's not amazing true but if he's the only Back Up you've got the fact he adds 131kg to the scrum is never going to be a bad thing, yet again with his age and low CSR he's never going to develop into anything great.

Lance Grieve - Honestly I would consider changing your FB to Ryan Titler but some people may beg to differ with me on this. Fair enough his Attack is better but with Titler's superior speed, agility kicking and handling I'd want some one who was more guaranteed to catch the ball and give it a good hoof if needed.

Milton Jeremiah - Fine as a centre speed could be a little better but between himself and Mark Carey I would go for his better Attack and Defence over Carey

Ramiro Gorosito - With low speed but better attack and defence so I would have used him as a back up flanker as opposed to a back up centre.

So with all that gubbins this really depends on to your funds to invest in new players and what you need. But just on my view without all the knowledge.

Carey - Backup centre CSR is growing an an okay rate so maybe hold on to see if attack or defence pops

Grageon - Low CSR and low increase a week I would say, despite physicals you have to ask yourself is he worth the £4,090 he's costing you a week and if you could get something better for £4000 a week

Titler - Really would keep and try at FB (but I open to anyone mocking this suggestion).

Thorne - With his age and lowish CSR I would yet again ask if he is worth the £4,600 a week, especially if your going to put in Titler for FB trials.

Olivier - Better defence than Gorosito I would keep as your back up flanker

Boatwright - He has good physicals true but like with Grageon if you could find better stats for £3,500 to £4,000 a week you may be better off.

Grieve - Maybe move to back up FB is Titler becomes the better option not sure what your 13 is like but maybe worth a look

Jeremiah - Keep at 12

Gorosito - Flanker or Centre I think you have better options for both so I would sell and save yourself the weekly wage

Like I said someone more educated may give you better help but hopefully I may have given you something to think about

Stay Mega
