What is the latest you would say to scout this season for u20?
I am pulling my lock in R6 to train anyway, would doing a pull R6D2 be ok? Otherwise i will have to pull a backrower so less likely to get lucky i guess

he'd need to be a monster, but if so that's on the cusp rather than too late

i have no chance at all do i? not sure whether to try or just admit im out and save energy
He has same stars for scrum, ruck, maul, attack, defence and driving. He has roughly a 1 star advantage in lineout, pick and go, expansive and creative. And a larger 2+ star advantage on hands, kicking and stamina. I expect him to normal with a mix of 1sts and 2nds, as that is what he has done previous rounds of the cup. Although he may not as he has a fairly important game the same round

Any chance? His team looks much better in csr terms but ive learnt thats not everything. Any help would be great

I think you could beat him, but given respective energy levels perhaps not this weekend. Also with a small squad 2nds on wnwim sounds about right.

guessing they are fairly expensive, but how much would a 50-60k CSR flyhalf cost me? needs to be a kicker (only 12/13)
Also completely unrelated question, am i right in thinking having level 4 trainers before facilities is pointless?

Could i check the training on him too? Playing as an openside flanker
Stamina: Admirable Handling: Reputable
Attack: Admirable Defense: Sumptuous
Technique: Princely Strength: Admirable
Jumping: Satisfactory Speed: Admirable
Agility: Limited Kicking: Despicable

On level 3 training atm, hopefully up to 4s by end of season roughly maybe slightly longer. Now ive seen it wirtten down, is there any point training him for much longer on 3s?

You're fine to keep training him on level 3s. I might suggest dropping to 1x net once a skill reaches 13 to keep efficiency as high as possible whilst you're waiting for lvl 4s. Except perhaps key skills, I'd keep tech on 2x for a flanker even if there's an efficiency drop in the same, tech is just that key, or 2x kicking on a 10, 2x jump on a lock....but in the main just spread nets around as much as possible given trainers available and other training plans.

I wouldn't train too long above 14s with lvl 3s, but he's going to take a while to hit 14s anyway I'd guess. 15 is certainly a point to stop training with lvl 3s, it'll take a long, long time to get lvl 3s to reach the next pop once that high.

Howkins came out as:
http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=12588876
19,718 CSR
Stamina: Reputable Handling: Average
Attack: Limited Defense: Reputable
Technique: Satisfactory Strength: Admirable
Jumping: Reputable Speed: Average
Agility: Moderate Kicking: Despicable

Im thinking start training as 1 stam, 1 att, 2 tech, 2 jump, 2 hands, 1 strength, 1 def ???

How would you train http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=12628318 into an 8?

Will probs have around 100-110 Total skill points when training is finished.

Currently
Stamina: Decent Handling: Reputable
Attack: Moderate Defense: Reputable
Technique: Admirable Strength: Reputable
Jumping: Admirable Speed: Limited
Agility: Limited Kicking: Non-Existent

I am aware certain skills will need a lot of training to reach the required level.

Ok cheers so basically you want all skills ROUGHLY the same? Or just the same training on all, so each go up by similar amount?

I like the idea of 1 netting. But do you know how long you'll be training, and therefore if one netting will get certain skills to where you want them be the time training comes off?

Been a while since I have had to use this bad boy Razz
I tried asking on the chat box but noone was really sure, what sort of level can 19yo leave the YA these days with L3 coach? I am seriously considering a change of game plan

Re: My questions

Post by agrimsley on Sat Oct 12, 2013 8:25 pm

I have a couple of guys that I will be pulling this coming season at 106 and 105 TDSP right now. With the changes to YA training, I will expect these to increase as the limit is no longer 12. I believe both of these are above the average but at just 30 stars, I've been producing many guys at 60-65k.

Ya is an option, not one I'm sure I would recommend due to its cost but I enjoy the ability to produce a large number of homegrown players.
