Try Brown on the wing with a drift defence possibly. better player in the centre, and certainly when a better passer, makes sense though

Re: My questions

playing snare at outside centre wont hurt if you have a more technical 12

hes going to be dangerous at 13 and 14 so depends on tactics

snare will play better at 12 then brown will at 11 or 14.

so i think the choice is roughly between having an 8 out of 10 player at 13 and a 6 out of 10 at 14

or an 7 out of 10 at 13 and a 9 out of 10 at 14

pulling numbers out of air but the philosophy is the same.
thats why it depends on tactics , for creative gameplans play snare at 13. and for more expansive and driving plans play brown at 13

does it matter which is 6 and which is 7, my lineout is much better than most league anyway so no real need for lineout 6 atm

Level 1 will I assume have basically ground to a halt by the time a skill is rated at 11. Level 2 would train fairly decently, but really Level 3. Level 3s will train to 18 but time wise call it a halt at 13-14 and train something or someone else

Re: My questions

Post by michaelbolton on Sat Sep 29, 2012 3:55 pm

also is 6 attack too low for number 8?

http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=10292984

and is this ok for a stop gap div 4 centre?
http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=10292984
or http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=12050931

and last question
http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=11040718 or http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=12027550
better than either my 10
http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=11040718
Stamina: Reputable Handling: Reputable
Attack: Decent Defense: Reputable
Technique: Moderate Strength: Average
Jumping: Average Speed: Satisfactory
Agility: Satisfactory Kicking: Impressive
or my 15
http://www.blackoutrugby.com/game/club.squad.php#player=11463850
Stamina: Admirable Handling: Reputable
Attack: Satisfactory Defense: Admirable
Technique: Limited Strength: Moderate
Jumping: Satisfactory Speed: Decent
Agility: Satisfactory Kicking: Impressive

cos i could do with a better kicker if theyre reasonably cheap

These are my 3 options for hooker, would you have fossa at hooker or would he be better used at prop (much better than current props)?
If prop would you use anet or blunt at hooker?
cheers guys

Northleach Stars – Wnwim with as weak a team as possible
Cockerton Eagles – TNT with best team
Luckett RFC – Wnwim with 2nd team
West Hartlepool – normal or TNT with best team

Lutteurs v West Hartlepool - w
Thrapston Leopards v Lutteurs - w
Cockerton Eagles v Lutteurs - L
Lutteurs v Wolf Runners – L

If those games go to form then lutteurs end up on 36 points

If you gain 14 points from the last 4 games you take 4th , round 11 is 5 points in the bag then you need 9 more , the 4 can come from beating the eagles and then bag a bonus point against west Hartlepool.

If things start looking even more messy then TNT luckett in round 13 too

Also, for the west hartlepool game, he hasnt been on since 11 sept and has set default as normal, will i be able to get bp win on normal?

rain effects kickers mate i say , mainly in game kicks rather than place kicks. you should win that game on normal if you now you can beat him on normal

Re: My questions

Post by michaelbolton on Sun Oct 21, 2012 4:04 pm

Just an update on my league, i have somehow managed to beat 2nd and 3rd 2 weeks running so am on level points with lutteurs but in the remaining games i have a manager on the verge of going bot and he has the league leader. Would you say to give up on playoffs completely and ltnt last game and guarantee 4th or risk normal/wnwim and try and finish higher? Only problem is i would be playing 1st in playoffs and he is so much better than every other team in my league. thoughts?

risk a normal for the greater good mate.

chances are you win on normal and lutteurs lose.

if you finish 4th wnwim the semi final and target 3rd place

Agree with Wing - throw your first playoff and target 3rd with a win in the second playoff.

Looking to expand stadium early next season, do you think any of my players would make a decent amount of money? To me decent money is quite low but which players do you think would be worth putting up on the TM?
Cheers for any thoughts
