Waking the sleeping giant
Ok everyone, we've bandied a few ideas about on how you get this community out of hibernation and make it an active and inviting entity.
I've created a couple of boards on trello (link below), sign up, have a look at what's there, you'll find one board called community rejuvenation, the other to-do.
To do is pretty empty right now, don't worry about that, we'll fill it up soon. Hop on the community rejuvenation one and start chucking stuff in the ideas section, one card per idea, give it a title and description.
I'll explain how the use it at a later date, for now we'll just fill up the ideas section.

Re: Waking the sleeping giant
There's a grand total of four of us posting ideas, we're rapidly approaching double figures. Come join us and put on a few suggestions of your own.
I've set up a slack team for us to discuss said ideas, I set one up before but sign ups were a pain in the ass as you needed to be invited. I've now got a work around to get round that, head over to the following link to sign up to it. It's got a mobile app and I have to use it for work, so you'll always find me on it (it will make collaborating on getting the community active again a whole heap easier)

Flo,
I will get on it once I settle on 50 or so u20 possibles for the S32 campaign, maybe a few more depending on how close the margins are. Finding very little free time presently

Re: Waking the sleeping giant
Slack and trello are now linked, this means if someone changes something on trello a notification is sent to slack, so we don't have to keep checking trello for updates. I've also configured slack so we can update trello directly from it.
I think everything is in place for us to start discussing and hopefully rebuilding this fine community.

Okay, the new, new offsite currently being trialed (to some success) can now be registered at by following this link - https://brengland.typeform.com/to/LKEL9U
The arguably new and improved site now has arguably improved security. If you're having any problems accessing the site please let us know here.

FYI. If you already signed up to the beta offsite (slack) you don't need to fill out the form, although there's no harm in you doing so.

Just a reminder to people that there's now far more chat on the new site
https://brengland.typeform.com/to/LKEL9U
Any problems please let us know here, or send me (or Florida) a PM on BR.
Without doubt the new site is much more convenient for actually chatting, so do give it a whirl.

Re: Waking the sleeping giant
That seems to be a chatroom and not a forum.
|'m on an old a decrepit netbook which really can't cope with a javascript based chatroom, especially not whilst running blackout's match engine.
Did I miss the forum?

Re: Waking the sleeping giant
That's not an unreasonable point.
There are some more functions associated with the Slack that might suit, we'll have a look. No need to close this place as a forum of course, even if it's not especially busy
