Hi Guys,

I've got the below 2 locks in my starting lineup and was wondering who people think would be better to start at 4 (which is the default jumper right?).

. Jake Mutch
22 y/o (R2, D1) | 28,872 CSR (+214) | $6,705 p.w. | 201cm | 108kg | Ireland
Right handed, left footed, in decent form .
A collected player with collected discipline, average leadership, and limited experience.
Energy: Pumped 85%
Stamina: Impressive Handling: Decent
Attack: Decent Defense: Admirable
Technique: Admirable Strength: Decent
Jumping: Decent Speed: Moderate
Agility: Average Kicking: Horrible

5. Steve Goodyear
17 y/o (R3, D5) | 25,502 CSR (+762) | $6,108 p.w. | 199cm | 124kg | England
Left handed, left footed, in satisfactory form .
An aggressive player with controlled discipline, average leadership, and despicable experience.
Energy: Sprightly 64%
Stamina: Satisfactory Handling: Reputable
Attack: Reputable Defense: Admirable
Technique: Decent Strength: Admirable
Jumping: Reputable Speed: Average
Agility: Limited Kicking: Despicable

Mutch is obviously taller and has better agility but Goodyear has better jumping and handling stats. As Goodyear gets better ( have him on 10 nets) I will definitely have him but just wanted to know for the time being.

I honestly don't think it really matter mate, though I suppose you want your tallest and or best jumping lock at 4 just cos then on defensive line outs they HAVE to throw over him. At least that's how it works in real rugby anyway...

They're very close. I'd probably play Steve at 4 but maybe check their stats throughout the season to see who drops more in lineouts/wins more lineouts.

Thanks guys, I'll have to keep an eye on them throughout the season and see what happens. Wing - does stamina really come into play with jumping in the lineout? That didn't even come to mind!

ofcourse it does mate stamina effects every skill during a game so the guy with the better stamina performs better than the other one as the game goes on and especially in tight second halfs it can prove vital
