What league are you in, what are your aims for 2/3 seasons, how many years do you want to train players and how many are you looking to feed into training sessions each season?

But ceteris paribus the 17 year olds on 10 nets each

IV 42
last couple of seasons i've been sitting around 6th, my aims are to be pushing for a 2nd/3rd place within 2 seasons, then with in 5 be looking at promotion.
i'm looking at 2/3 year training program,
probably 1 or 2, ive got 4/5 promising 16 year old in my youth squad, that i want to bring up over the next 3/4 seasons.

I'd say you want to be looking at making div 3 worthy players now you're safe in div 4.

So for now I'd aim at producing 70k+ players, so take 3 youngsters of reasonable skill, train them hard for 3 seasons. Then shortly after you'll want to move onto 100k+ which is going to be more like 4 seasons for the majority, at that point you're best off trying for u20s, since they'll get more experience.
